An interactive training session was organised by Ms. Anam Naeem specially for the staff of KRSS to brush up their communication skills on 25th of Sept, 2020. The session was a success in terms of learning new concepts as per the response received by the staff.
Communication skills are a vital part of the editorial process, hence, we make it a point at the KRSS that the staff is well versed with effective communication. The training session comprised of tips and tricks to develop content relating to journal publication, specifically, the corresponding and advertising text. The staff learnt about how to develop a comprehensive and to the point communication. The emphasis was on being able to correspond effectively and to deliver the meaning clearly and precisely. For that, small activities were performed with the trainer to make the session more interesting and interactive and to achieve maximum learning.
Along with learning about the communication skills, some tips were also shared for making the workplace a happy place in terms of ethics and intercommunication among the staff. We focused on developing a healthy workplace environment and a good spirited collegial relationship.
